西安建筑科技大学附属小学始建于1956年，坐落在文化氛围浓厚的西安建筑科技大学院内，是一所自办全日制小学。学校占地约7000平方米，校园环境优美，教学设施完善。现有教学班级18个，学生千余名。
        近半个世纪以来，附小始终保持着良好的校风和较高的教育教学质量，是国家级语言文字示范学校、全国航空（航天）模型活动重点单位；也是陕西省绿色学校、陕西省艺术教育示范学校、陕西省家长示范学校、陕西省“三八”红旗集体、陕西省中小学德育工作先进集体；学校还被评为西安市体育传统项目学校、西安市科技教育示范学校、西安市红旗大队。
        师资力量是附小教育教学质量的根本保证。附小拥有一支教学水平高、责任心强的高素质教师队伍。现有中学高级教师1人，小学高级教师30人，研究生学历5人，本科以上学历90%，骨干教师40%。教师们执着于对课程的深入探究和反复研磨，形成了“严谨、务实、创新”的优良教风；高尚的师德品质，积极进取的团队精神，使得附小的教师队伍始终保持着旺盛的生命力。
        多年来，附小始终秉承“以人为本、质量立校”的办学理念，以稳步上升的教育教学质量赢得广大学生家长和社会支持。低年级的课程改革，力求不断改进教学方法，优化课堂教学，从学生的兴趣入手，激发学生的学习欲望，挖掘学生学习潜能；中年级的各种特色课程，让学生成为课堂的主人，让课堂教学充满探究的乐趣；高年级狠抓质量监控，拓展能力，勇于创新。附小培养的学生以基础知识扎实，创新意识强，综合素质高得到社会各界好评。

    The Primary School Attached to Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology is located near the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Since its founding in 1956, the school has upheld good school spirit and high teaching quality. It has ever been awarded as the Key Unit of National Aerospace Model Activities, the Green School of Shaanxi Province, the Moral Education Advanced Group of Shaanxi Province, the Specialized Art Teaching School of Xi’an, Xi’an Science and Technology Education Model School, Xi’an Red Flag Group of Young Pioneers and so on.

    The school covers an area of 43,000 square meters, consisting of 18 classes at 6 grade levels. Clean and beautiful campus and complete facilities are very beneficial to the education and growth of students.

    The school runs with the idea of people-oriented approach and existence on quality. The teaching spirit of strictness, practice and innovation makes our 50 faculty members intellectually curious and academically serious.
